8-12 ft waves were forcasted for today, with 15 ft and up clean up sets. As you can see from these pics, this didn't happen. At least not this early. Taken at Swamis. The parking lot was packed full of photographers, surfers and onlookers. One photographer commented - "the worst forcast mistake of the season!" - Dang dude, calm it down. Still a beautiful day, with waves in the chest to head high range - and a gusty offshore wind. I'd be surfing if I didn't have to work.
