So, I'm a pretty picky hip hop fan. Have been for many years now - not being one to like most commercial rap, not because it's commercial, but just because I don't find it or it's content very appealing. I'm no where near being a baller, and I'd like to think that if I am able to make more than the average amount of money, I would be discreet about it. So, I tend to prefer underground or independent hip hop.
But, befor there was soo much seperation between what was commercial and underground, I was a fan of JayZ - especially for his Reasonable Doubt and Streets is Watchin albums. I honestly haven't taken a listen to his others due to the fact that I really can't stand the singles that have come off of them. Any way, I happened to get a hold of The Black Album - and I can't stop listening to it! Aside from tracks 5 & 6 - the singles. Other than that, the whole album is dope. I know this isn't a new album, by no means do I consider myself up on the new shit, but its new to me, and if you haven't checked out this album, I suggest you do.
