Showing Love
To me, what people mean by "relationships are work" is showing someone that you love them, everyday. And doing so in a way that is unselfish, with no other motives. Never taking for granted any part of this person, what they do for you, what they bring to your life, and how much they truely mean to you.
I fucked this all up. I had a woman who loved me. Would do anything for me. But, I took her for granted. I felt that things were owed to me, and that what we had would always be there. Now, I live alone, in a house with some strangers actually. And it took this for me to see what I had. Funny how things work like this.
Wether I get my girl back or I have to find love elsewhere, I am forever changed in the way I will "love."
