Where is she? She's not over there . . .

Do you know where she is?
Yeah yeah - adding captions to animals is kinda weird - but I work from home - who the hell else do you think I talk to?!?! haha
That pretty much describes what I stepped on today. I caught a wave and rode it until it pretty much fizzled out. I jumped off and prepared my feet to walk in the chest deep water - but was surprised by the sensation I was feeling under my right foot! At the time - I could barely feel anything anyway due to the water and air temps damn near freezing my feet. But, I knew I wasn't standing on sand. In fact, this thing was moving! So that pretty much rules out sea weed. This thing was slithering, or swimming away! Which really only leaves a couple of creatures - sand shark, fish, or ray - all of which inhabit the Oceanside area!
I just feel blessed that whatever it is didn't try to bite, sting or cause some other kind of damage in self defense to my unintentional stomping. But, given that this creature lives in the Ocean, I'm assuming that this action was attempted, and out of just dumb luck - I go out unscathed! =)
Many many things going on right now - Either a broken rib or a very badly bruised one from surfing Saturday November 19th - Kalea not feeling well for the 3rd or 4th time and going to the Vet today - Thanksgiving coming up this week - A web site design / production that was due today, which I am still working on - A handful of other projects going on as well - Save the Date cards for my wedding design and production expected by next week - Earthbound Radio's site design seems to be moving along at the speed of molassas - Adicted Productions work expected from me also - - - Life is fun. This is a challenge. I haven't really been busy since I stopped working in the studio atmosphere, and to be honest, I think my mind has been craving the challenge. Hopefully I'll have some good work to post here in a couple weeks - only time will tell.
